My Own Way

My Own Way formed in late 2001 in the city of Berthierville, Quebec. At this time they were called Shifter and their principal influences were Lagwagon and Millencolin. They played most of they shows in their hometown, and a couple in the cities nearby. In 2004 their bass player Patrick quit the band and is soon replaced by Phil, which add a new sound to the band which is more similar to bands like Belvedere, Strung Out and Every New Day. In 2005 they enter the studio for the first time to record a small 2-song demo entitled My Last Word. They were planning to make a full lenght in the future, but the band disbanded not long after and never had the chance to finalize the project
