Locals Only

Biography (source: Interpunk) :
When Nonscore and Skaramush broke up in 2001 some members of these former punkrockbands joined forces in a new and fresh band called Locals Only. Inspired by their favorite activities, surfing, travelling, and listening to punkrock, they created their own sound and were good to go on stage.

After many cool shows with various other bands, which helped the band to grow a lot, Locals Only was ready to record a cd. The Californian label 'Sindependent Records' showed interest in LO and so a deal was made.

In the spring of 2005 their drummer Kling had to leave the band during hearingproblems. Still he was able to record the drums on Locals Only's first full lenght album 'Localism' consisting of 12 songs. Luckily a new drummer was soon found and now LO is anxious to get back on stage and promote their just released CD.

Against Time

Biography (Source: Against Time facebook page):
Against Time was founded early in 1994. The band started out playing covers of their punkrock heroes, but it wasn't long until they became more ambitious about their music and started writing their own songs. After playing the local scene for a couple of years they recorded their first album with Dutch producer Menno Bakker. In 1999 'And Not For Anyone' was released by Canadian label Meter Records. The record got raving reviews and the first pressing was sold out quickly. After playing all over the Netherlands (Willem II, Effenaar, 013, Doornroosje, Vlerk and many more), Against Time toured Canada late 2000 to support the album.

Back home Against Time immediately started working on their 2nd album, 'Never Forever', which was released at the end of 2002. In the mean time the band toured Spain twice and played all over the Netherlands and Belgium pleasing audiences with their energetic and sincere emotional shows. With the release of 'Never Forever' Against Time proove they have grown tremendously over the years, bringing a mature sound in which they encompass all kinds of influences and emotions. Great melodies, great songs on a well produced album with which they can easily take up competition with likeminded bands like Saves the Day, Hot Water Music and Atari's.

There are only a few punkrockbands who have what it takes to really stand out. Against Time has got it all; passion, melody, an emotional touch, intensity and most of all; great songs! Having played all over Europe and Canada, Against Time is a tight and impressive live-act with international status!

Pkg.

Biography :
pkg. (package) was founded in 1996 as "Poor Kids on Glue" with no specific purpose apart from having foodfights and making noise skate punk. Since then the band has been through quite some changes. After these line-up changes 4 boys decided to make the demo ; "A present for someone you don't like" early '98. By then the band was already called P.K.G.. During that period the center of Holland was terrorized by stickers with a funny head and those 3 letters. Luckily for mankind these sticky inflicters of annoyance are allmost out of stock, though one can still find them in certain places recently visited by the band.
Not very long after that demo Menno came to help Mark W. to sound a lot fatter. After a while two dots were thrown out of the name and a little package was formed. The last and so far final change came when Mark R. (by then already roadie, sound-man, I wanna do something) was summoned to memorize the bass-lines. We've been happily married ever since...When Mark finally could play all the songs they could think of some new material. These thoughts grew stronger and stronger and erupted round Oct. '99 when they recorded the new demo c.q. maxi-CD. And they titled it: 'as good as new' which is very true of course. Not very long after the release of this demo Mark W. decided to quit pkg. to spent more time with his new band Fair Fight. After which we remained with the 4 of us again.

Raise Kain was a band from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. They began as a punkrock / skatepunk band in mid 90's. They released a tape in 1998 and the next year a full lenght CD. After the CD there was some major changes in the band and only one member of the original lineup was left when they recorded their 2002 EP, which is not skatepunk but kind of emo/rock.

Barton Dean

Barton Dean, that was a fucking good band from Netherlands that played in the end of the 90's, 1996 to 2000 to be more exact. If you like old swedish skatepunk you'll love this band. In their existence they only released their stuff on tape, which make their music very hard to find. An interesting fact about this band, is that 2 members also formed (Jeroen is still plaing in) the metal band Within Temptation, which is now very famous! Yeah, the dudes started in a skatepunk band!!
