  1. Thank you very much! Here's their biography:
"The band "Pride & Shame" consists of 3 guys and has been founded in september 1998. These guys are playing punkrock and don´t have ideals like the "Sex Pistols" because they want to produce Punkrock in a high quality.
For about half a year "Pride & Shame" were covering songs and after some time they went with their first self-made CD to a record-label called "CCP-Records" in Austria. First, the 3 guys got only a production-contract to see, whether the band is able to play good concerts and to sell their CD´s.
Many people liked their kind of music and after some time they received a contract from the above mentioned recording-studio.
The band had big troubles to find a drummer. But soon the frontman Christian decided to play the drums himself and Michael decided to sing the backing-vocals.
Usually "Pride & Shame" consisted of 4 guys but after one year the second guitar-player decided to leave the band to have more time for the school he needs for his job.
"Pride & Shame" is famous for the different style of their songs. The band always tries to play punk in a high quality. The people like their kind of music in Austria, but that´s not enough for the 3 guys. They want to be successful in Europe, too.
In Austria "Pride & Shame" represents their kind of music with the first CD "Reality" and received very good criticism in music-magazines like "X-Act" or "Gap". With the second CD "Better days in different ways" the 3 guys reached a musical highlight and their big purpose is to play concerts in europe. In september 1999 the band played with a punk-rock band from Germany called "The Bates" and fascinated with their fast and pressureful punk and show on stage."
They also have one 5-track Demo Tape (1998).
