Boredom is a band that formed in 1994 in St. Augustine Fl... Tom, Tony, and Mike started jamming in high school and BOREDOM was formed shortly after when Gib came on board as the singer... They recorded a few albums and did some extensive touring with that line up. They also had quite a few songs featured in surf movies like "Lost Across America" and "What's Really Going On" to name a few. Then sometime around the third album Mike left the band and Reid came on board playing bass for just a short while and recorded the split album. Jeremy joined the band shortly after Reid left allowing for touring and playing with bands such as Yellowcard, Guttermouth, Bigwig, Over it, Inspection 12, The Uprise, etc.., was in short order. Their last album "squat thrust captain" was released in 2001. A nationwide tour was scheduled but after Jeremy was injured on the way to play shows with Yellowcard in California it never happened.... 'til now?

DeleteBoredom and Guttermouth are playing the Landshark Cafe in Jax Beach June 14, 2014! If you guys need any old tapes I'm sure we can scrounge them up from our moms houses or something. We had two tapes before "For lack of a better Idea".
