Biography:
I have very few infos about this band. They were from Monterey Bay area, California and started in 1999. They've played with Happy Campers, Outtaline and other local bands. After Drain 26, they changed their name for The Drive Home and released an album in 2002 titled Letters From Distant Places. Any more infos are welcome!

Yes, this is pretty much correct. After the Monterey Bay Area we moved up to Sonoma County. That's where we changed our name to The Drive Home and when we released Letters from Distant Places on PopSmear Records. The original line-up was the following:
ReplyDeleteCole Bushman: Vocals/Bass
Brian Griffith: Drums
Chris DiSalvo: Guitar
After we moved up to Sonoma County, we added Jason Petersen on drums, and Brian switched to guitar. Shortly thereafter, Chris left the band and we added Andrew Smith on guitar. Our final line-up was the following:
Cole Bushman: Vocals/Bass
Brian Griffith: Guitar
Andrew Smith: Guitar/Back-Up Vocals
Jason Petersen: Drums
We split up as a band in 2003 after our last show, which, strangely enough, was a headlining gig with Boys Night Out, The Bled, and Saosin in San Rafael.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Segey! I'd love to hear all of your stuff again - Drain 26 had a few of my favorite songs when I was in college.
