Loose End

Loose End was a Christian punk rock band from Chula Vista, California. Their story started in 1999, when the five members were into that Christian punk style that was getting pretty popular in these years (Slick Shoes, Mxpx, Sick Of Change, Dogwood, etc.) In 2003 the band stopped but fortunately during their existence they left for us an album in 2001 which is amazing.

  1. Hey this is Dale, from loose end. Thanks for the post. I like to google us every once and a while. It's pretty cool to see people still like our stuff. :)

  2. Oh, hey, I live in Florida but my aunt lives in Chula Vista and she sent me Loose End's CD. I was just burning it to my computer again (lost the data) and was searching for the band trying to find album art when I found this blog post.

Just figured I'd pop in and share that someone across the country knows about this band :)

  4. Wow! Crazy to think this is still on the internet after all these years. I grew up in Chula Vista and saw these guys play a few times. They had a lot of talent. Though I was a few years younger I became friends with Drew and Matt's brother, Chris. After breaking up in followed Dale a bit, even buying his solo stuff from mp3.com, a servents heart. I liked it, wish I could find some of those tracks.

  5. What are the side projects the past members were in. I’d love to check out some of the stuff they did after. I remember Loose End was Gentile. Also I recall Dale’s old band Big Deel and other Chula Vista bands like Slap on Sam and I Like Girls.

  6. I’m Chris, I played drums in this band. I had a lot of great memories with Dale, Brian, Matt, and Drew.
